"lint" frontend for pcc ?

Are there any plans to provide a "lint" frontend for pcc ? Main usage
of course would be code checking... but it would also be nice to have
a way to create "lint libraries", e.g. some kind of "condensed" code
which is shipped with compiled shared libraries and can be used for
type&&argument checking etc. etc. (for example see

Lint were a part of the pcc I started with, but I removed the #ifdefs
for it, it became too clumsy.

Besides that; it would be nice to have the lint functionality
accompanying pcc.
I'm a big fan of lint myself :-)
